Closing Credits to T.V. Shows
Nothing finishes off a fine programme better than a great musical theme as the credits are rolling. .
I'm really enjoying Public Eye on Talking Pictures . Quality TV that puts today's offerings in the shade .
That sinister jazzy piano music as Frank wanders lonely over bridges and down lanes at the end of each episode really makes it special .
Have you any favourites ?

Momac it was a program of outstanding quality in, acting, story lines and scenery , It would stand up to any telly program today and that theme tune is timeless

OK, so I am biased on this one, as I used to work for them, but my all time favourite:
The first five notes are morse code, played by two trombones, for the letters 'A' and 'R', the company's initials.
The remainder is the Intermezzo from Karelia Suite by Sibelius

Ena
As soon as I saw 'Intermezzo from Karelia Suite by Sibelius' I knew which tune it was, but for some reason I always think that it was the theme to Man Alive, and it is nothing like the Man Alive theme
So you worked for Associated Rediffusion ?

A shared theme, both programs from different parts of the World
William Tell with Conrad Phillips but, guess who else did the same theme tune,,,
